Department Of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal : The college has its own admission rules coping up with the guidelines laid down by its affiliating university, Vidyasagar University. Also this year the college is going to introduce the online filling of application forms for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

Candidates passing Higher Secondary Examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent board/council is eligible for admission in both Hons. And General course within 3(Three) consecutive academic sessions from the date of passing the qualifying examination, provided that the candidate must have passed in 5(Five) recognized subjects including at least one language subject in the qualifying examination.

The Principal Of this college is appointed by the Government of West Bengal, Department of Higher Education. He is the administrative and academic head of the college. He is assisted by the Teacher’s council and the non teaching staff members for smooth running of the college. Dr. Dwaipayan Sinha is the Officer-In-Charge of the college since inception.
